Allen & Heath SQ 5 16 local, expand to 48 inputs, 12 mix outputs

The SQ-5 is a 48-channel, 36-bus digital mixer built around Allen & Heath's XCVI 96kHz FPGA audio engine, delivering under 0.7ms of input-to-output latency. It packs 16+1 motorised faders, 16+1 onboard mic preamps and eight assignable SoftKeys into a 19-inch rack-mountable frame with a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen.

Eight stereo FX engines provide studio-quality reverb, delay and modulation with dedicated returns, and up to 12 stereo mixes are available alongside the main LR output. A 32x32 USB audio interface handles multitrack recording, a 64-channel network audio port supports expansion cards, and an SLink port connects to remote expanders for additional local inputs.
