This is a recone kit for the 18EX1400-8, an 18-inch bass/sub-bass driver rated at 1400W RMS with a 4-inch voice coil and an aluminium chassis, commonly used in subwoofer cabinets for live sound and installed PA systems. The kit supplies a replacement diaphragm and voice coil assembly built to the same specification as the original driver, allowing a worn or damaged 18EX1400-8 to be rebuilt rather than replaced outright.
Because recone kits are matched to a specific driver, this kit fits the 18EX1400-8 only, using components engineered to the same 4-inch voice coil diameter, 8-ohm impedance and mechanical tolerances as the factory original.
