The Data Stream 4 is a universal DMX-512 optical splitter that takes a single incoming DMX signal and distributes it across four electronically isolated outputs, each fitted with both 3-pin and 5-pin XLR sockets, plus an additional link/thru output for extending a daisy chain.
Isolating each output branch prevents wiring faults or ground loops on one leg of a lighting rig from affecting the others, useful on larger installations with multiple fixture runs. Housed in a compact 1U rack-mountable enclosure, it runs on auto-ranging 100-240VAC power and draws only a few watts, making it easy to integrate into an existing lighting rack.
