Wharfedale Typhon AXF8BT 8" BT Active Speaker

The Typhon AXF8BT is an 8-inch bi-amplified active loudspeaker delivering 720 W continuous power (1440 W peak) with a maximum SPL of 127 dB at 1 metre. An 8-inch driver with a 2.5-inch voice coil pairs with a 1.75-inch HF compression driver, driven by a Class D bi-amplified design with advanced FIR-filtered DSP for improved bass response, refined phase alignment and a smoother overall frequency balance.

Built-in aptX Bluetooth allows cable-free playback from mobile devices, and two units can link together as a wireless stereo pair. The rugged polypropylene cabinet retains full IP54 dust and moisture protection, multiple rigging points and integrated carry handles for touring and installed use.
