The AR2412 is a 48kHz I/O expander that adds 24 remote XLR mic/line inputs and 12 XLR outputs to Allen & Heath's Qu, Avantis and SQ digital mixers, and the AHM-64 audio matrix processor. Each input has a mic preamp with up to 60dB of gain and a -20dB pad for line-level sources.
It connects to the mixer over a single Cat5 cable using Allen & Heath's dSNAKE protocol, allowing placement up to 400 feet away. A dedicated Monitor port supports ME-1 personal mixers, and an Expander port allows daisy-chaining to further units. It ships in a 3U, 19-inch rackmountable chassis with a universal 100-240V power supply.
